Shower and avoid heavy meals or caffeine before your session. Remove jewelry and contact lenses. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete intake forms and ask questions. Our staff will review safety, pod controls, and comfort options before you float.

You’ll initially adjust to weightlessness and sensory reduction; breathing and heartbeat may seem louder. After thirty to sixty minutes you may enter deep relaxation or meditative states. Time perception often slows; return is gentle—take time to reorient after exiting.

Float Therapy - 90 Mins is generally safe, but beginners often start with a shorter session. If you have epilepsy, severe psychiatric conditions, open wounds, or certain heart issues, consult your physician. Our staff reviews safety and accommodations beforehand.

For therapeutic goals, weekly or biweekly ninety-minute sessions produce consistent nervous system recalibration and pain relief. For maintenance, once or twice monthly often suffices. Frequency varies by condition, so we’ll recommend a plan based on your goals and response.

If anxiety arises, focus on slow breathing, keep lights on, or play gentle music. You can open the lid or end the float at any time—staff are available before and after to guide relaxation techniques and help you feel safe.

Contraindications include uncontrolled epilepsy, severe cardiac conditions, active infections, or open wounds. If pregnant, have pacemakers, or manage insulin, consult your doctor first. We require disclosure of medications and health history during intake to ensure a safe float.
