Hydrate well before your session, avoid heavy meals, remove jewelry, wear a swimsuit or towel, and shower beforehand if possible. Arrive a few minutes early to acclimate and inform staff of any medical concerns.
Yes for most people when approached cautiously. Start on a lower bench or lower temperature, limit time if needed, and drink water. Those with heart conditions, pregnancy, or other concerns should consult a physician first.
Absolutely. A short sauna primes muscles and increases circulation before massage, or aids recovery and relaxation afterward. It enhances therapeutic benefits when combined with float therapy or bodywork.
For general wellness, 2–3 times per week is effective. Beginners can start with once weekly and increase gradually. Listen to your body; more frequent sessions may be appropriate for recovery with medical approval.
Certain conditions warrant caution: pregnancy, uncontrolled hypertension, recent heart attack or stroke, active infection, or medications affecting temperature regulation. If you have chronic health issues, seek medical clearance before using the sauna.
Bring a water bottle, towel, and optional swimsuit or change of clothes. Remove jewelry and electronics. We provide towels and guidance, but arriving hydrated and showered improves comfort and safety.
